Through its predecessor firm, G. Randall Fine Antiques and Works of Art – Randall Fine Antiques was founded and began licensed trading on June 6 th , 1952 in Lockland, Ohio, U.S.A. The firm subsequently operated in other parts of Ohio, to include Athens and Mansfield. In the 1960’s the firm took premises in, “Old Town” Alexandria on the Potomac River, the city George Washington called home. In the 1980’s a gallery was opened and maintained in Washington, D.C. at the entrance to the Four Seasons Hotel and at 1020 Madison Avenue in New York City. Currently we offer private showrooms in Washington, D.C. and in Stonington, Connecticut by appointment.
For over 60 years our family firm has specialized in Fine Antique Furniture and Works of Art from the 18th century period from America, Great Britain and France. Over that period of time we have been sourcing important antiques with impeccable provenance for private collectors and the great museums of the world, including the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
